One car for the whole group
When five or six of you are travelling together, splitting into two cars costs more and makes it harder to arrive together. A 6 seater taxi in Richmond is an MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) that seats up to six passengers, with room for four suitcases and two cabin bags.

What fits in a 6 seater?
The standard MPV booked through us takes:

- 2 cabin bags
If you have six passengers and six large suitcases, the luggage may not fit. In that case, consider booking an MPV plus a saloon, or ask about a 7 seater taxi, which may have more space depending on the vehicle. Always tell us the number of bags as well as passengers.

- Golf trips with clubs, though golf bags take up a lot of space, so mention them.
- Match days at Twickenham Stadium. Note that roads near the stadium are often closed or very busy on event days.

Children and car seats
If you are travelling with young children, tell us how many child seats or boosters you need. An MPV with child seats fitted may have less space for luggage, so mention everything when you book. You can also bring your own seats.
Pushchairs and mobility aids
Folded pushchairs and wheelchairs take up boot space. Count each one as a suitcase when you work out what will fit. If a passenger needs a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, say so when you book, as a standard MPV is not the same as a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

- Add flight or train details if you are being collected.
- Book early for school holidays and bank holidays, when MPVs are in high demand.
Cost
An MPV usually costs more than a saloon, but is often cheaper than two separate cars. You will see the fixed price before you confirm.
