When six seats are not enough
A standard MPV seats six. When there are seven of you, the choice is usually between two cars or one larger vehicle. A 7 seater taxi in Richmond keeps the whole group together, which is easier to organise and often cheaper than two separate bookings.
Because 7 seater vehicles are less common than saloons or 6 seater MPVs, they are booked on request and subject to availability. The earlier you book, the better the chance of getting one.
Who books 7 seaters?
- Large families going on holiday together.

Luggage
This is the most important thing to check. Some vehicles with seven seats have very little boot space when all seats are in use. Tell us exactly how many suitcases, cabin bags and other items you have. If the luggage will not fit, we may suggest:
- A minibus, which seats up to 8 passengers.
- A 6 seater MPV plus a saloon for the extra passenger and bags.
- Two vehicles booked together, so everyone arrives at a similar time.
How to request a 7 seater
- Call us or use the booking form and say you need seven seats.
- Give the date, time, pick-up and drop-off.
- Tell us the number of bags and any items such as pushchairs or sports kit.
- Mention any child seats needed.
- We will check availability with operators and confirm the options and price.
