About Richmond Airport Transfers

Who we are

We are a Cab Facilitator, connecting the passengers with the licenced Minicab and Taxi service providers in the UK, with best interests of both parties.

Richmond Airport Transfers is a local booking website for Richmond upon Thames and the surrounding area. Our contact address is on Sheen Lane, London SW14 8AD, close to Mortlake station and the Upper Richmond Road West.

We are a booking agent, not a minicab office

We do not hold a private hire operator licence and we do not employ or hire drivers directly. When you make a booking with us, it is passed to a licensed private hire operator, who sends the car and driver. The contract for the journey is between you and that operator.

We think this is worth saying plainly, because in London only licensed black cabs are taxis in the legal sense. The cars you book through us are private hire vehicles, often called minicabs, and they must be pre-booked. You cannot hail them in the street.

How a booking works

1. You enter your journey details in the booking form or call us on 020 3468 2459.
2. You see fixed quotes from the operators available for that journey.
3. You choose a quote and confirm. You will receive a confirmation by email or text.
4. The operator's driver collects you at the agreed time and place.

What we focus on

Most people who book with us are going to or from an airport, so we concentrate on making that simple: clear pricing, room for flight details and notes, and 24-hour booking. You can read about each route on our pages for Heathrow, Gatwick and the other London airports.

We also take bookings for London stations, local journeys and group travel. If you are not sure whether a trip can be arranged, call us and ask.

Licensing

Drivers

If you hold a PCO (TfL private hire) driver licence and are looking for work, see our PCO driver page.
