About Teddington
Teddington is a riverside suburb in the south of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Its two shopping streets, Broad Street and the High Street, have a good mix of shops and restaurants. Teddington Lock, the point where the Thames stops being tidal, is at the end of Ferry Road, and the footbridge there crosses to Ham. To the west is Bushy Park, with its deer and the Chestnut Avenue.
Teddington station has South Western Railway trains to Waterloo, via Kingston or via Twickenham and Richmond.
Journeys from Teddington

Broad Street and the High Street are busy, with limited places to stop. A side road is usually easier for a pick-up. On residential streets, give your exact address and any access details, such as a shared drive or a gate code.
Bushy Park is popular on weekends, and Park Road and the roads near its gates can be busy. Allow extra time if you are travelling then.

Teddington is close to the borough boundary with Kingston, and some journeys are quicker across Kingston Bridge, while others are quicker through Twickenham. Drivers choose the route on the day. Your fare is fixed when you book, so the route does not change the price.

Teddington borders Twickenham and Strawberry Hill to the north, Hampton to the west, and Hampton Wick to the south. Across the footbridge at Teddington Lock is Ham.
